Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Guilded AI handles information submitted through our website, intake forms, email, and related first-contact conversations.

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, organization, professional background, area of expertise, profile links, project details, and messages you send to us. Buyer and data owner inquiries may include information about the work you are trying to measure, improve, buy, sell, license, govern, or bring to market. Contributor inquiries may include information about your credentials, affiliation, expertise, and interest in joining the network.

We also receive basic technical information needed to operate and protect the website, such as IP address, browser or device information, pages visited, timestamps, and security logs.

Cookies and browser signals

We do not currently use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or cross-site behavioral advertising on this website. Our infrastructure providers may process technical information and use security-related technologies to deliver, monitor, and protect the website.

Because we do not sell personal information or use the website for targeted advertising, we do not currently treat browser “do not track” signals as a separate opt-out mechanism. If that changes, we will update this policy.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • review and respond to buyer, data owner, and contributor inquiries;
  • evaluate whether a project, partnership, or contributor relationship may be a fit;
  • operate, secure, debug, and improve the website and intake workflow;
  • maintain appropriate business records; and
  • comply with legal, security, or operational obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use intake submissions for targeted advertising.

Where a legal basis is required, we process personal information based on our legitimate interests in running the website, reviewing inquiries, and developing business relationships; to take steps requested before entering a contract; with consent where we ask for it; and as needed to comply with legal obligations.

Information sharing

We may share information with service providers and vendors that help us run the website, manage intake submissions, host files, send email, maintain security, or operate internal systems. These may include Cloudflare, Google Workspace, and similar infrastructure or productivity providers.

We may also share information with professional advisors, with counterparties as needed for a potential business relationship, if required by law or to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a corporate transaction. We do not share contributor submission information with buyer or data owner contacts without further context and permission.

Intake records

If you submit a native intake form, the submission may be stored through our website backend in a Cloudflare D1 database controlled by Guilded AI. The submission may also generate a Cloudflare Email Service notification to authorized Guilded AI personnel. We keep buyer, data owner, and contributor records operationally separate. Authorized Guilded AI personnel may review these records to evaluate and respond to submissions.

Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to evaluate submissions, manage follow-up, maintain business records, and meet legal or operational requirements. We may archive, export, or rotate intake records as part of routine records management and backups.

Your choices

You can ask us to update, correct, or delete information you have submitted, subject to legal, security, and business-record requirements. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights, such as rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of personal information.

To make a privacy request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.

Sensitive information

Please do not submit confidential client material, patient information, government identification numbers, payment card details, financial account information, or other highly sensitive information through our public intake forms. If a project requires confidential or regulated information, we will discuss the appropriate process separately.

Children

The website and intake forms are intended for professional and organizational contacts, not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date above and post the revised policy on this page.
